[The Lindley and Charles Eberstadt collection of broadsides and pamphlets relating to Central America]. [1820-1901, bulk 1825-1850]

Broadsides and pamphlets, printed in Central America, primarily government documents concerning the founding and dissolution of the República Federal de Centroamérica, attempts at reestablishing the Republic, and the politics and government of its constituent parts during the 19th century. There is overlap between the individual countries' series and that pertaining to the Republic. The bulk of the collection are Guatemala imprints, including a large number of presidential and legislative decrees (Decretos). Individuals prominantly featured include Francisco Morazán, Rafael Carrera, Mariano Paredes and Justo Rufino Barrios.
